Rolex Submariner 116610LV - RRP £7,450

30 April 2020 14:33:21 BST

The Rolex Submariner ‘Hulk’ is a quintessential example of sheer perfect craftmanship and engineering. From the perfectly crafted case in 904L Steel, to the Calibre 3135 movement at the heart of this wonderful timepiece.

Since its release at Baselworld in 2010, the Rolex Submariner Date 116610LV has become one of the most popular, if not the most popular modern Rolex timepieces of them all.

Featuring a vibrant green Cerachrom bezel and sunburst green dial with large luminescent markers makes for a timeless look which is both sporty and elegant at the same time, all whilst mated to a satin, three-piece oyster bracelet which finishes the look perfectly. The dial on this watch in particular is incredible in all lighting environments as in certain lights, the dial can look almost black when in others its unmistakably green as the light pops against the dial.

The previous generation, Calibre 3135 remains the beating heart for this model despite the introduction of the new and improved Calibre 3235 movement which boasts a 72-hour power reserve. Will we see the discontinuation of the ceramic Submariner Date as we know it in the near future? We would love to hear your opinion.

The current Recommended Retail Price of the Rolex Submariner Date 116610LV is £7,450.
